From fake soy sauce to homemade ketchup, you will find the "other" category helpful for substitutions.

1/2 cup raw honey
half a lemon
2 garlic cloves
1" chunk ginger
2 tsp. tumeric
dash black pepper
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 tbsp. water
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 tsp. vanilla

In a small heavy saucepan, stir together sugar, cocoa, and water until smooth.  Add margarine; cook and stir over medium-low heat until bubbly.  Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.  Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.  Pour into a small bowl.  Cool for 1 hour.  Cover and refrigerate until serving time.  Serve on sweet breads.

2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup tomato paste
3 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup onion, finely minced
8 oz. tomato sauce
6 oz. tomato paste
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cayenne (or more if you like it spicy)
1 gallon apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. whole allspice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
3/4 cup rice milk
1/4 cup margarine
