1/2 cup applesauce OR 1 banana

In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add milk, applesauce/banana, and oil; mix well. Spray pre-heated waffle iron with non-stick spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
