2 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup onion, finely minced
8 oz. tomato sauce
6 oz. tomato paste
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cayenne (or more if you like it spicy)

Cook minced onion and garlic in olive oil until opaque. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly and simmer for 20 minutes. Makes about 12 ounces.

This is a yummy barbecue sauce. I will say, however, that I am used to a sweeter sauce because commercially made barbecue sauces have corn syrup and such. You could sweeten this up if you'd like but it is nice and tangy as is.
