Lemon Garlic Broccoli

1 lb. broccoli florets
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
zest and juice from 1 lemon
4 garlic cloves, sliced
pinch black pepper

In a large skillet, bring an inch of water to a boil.  Add the broccoli and cook for 2minutes.  Drain immediately and rinse in cold water.  In that same skillet, heat oil.  Add the lemon zest and garlic and give it a quick stir.  Return the broccoli to the pan and saute for another 2 minutes.  Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

    This was a simple treatment of broccoli but it was good.
