6 tbsp. margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rice milk
1 cup dried dates, chopped
1/4 cup flour or flour substitute
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 cup oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup rice milk

1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 cup oats
Cream together margarine and brown sugar. Add the rice milk and dates; combine thoroughly. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and oats. Add dry ingredients to the date mixture and combine thoroughly. Lightly spray 12 muffin tins. Scoop mixture into muffin tins. Bake at 350 for 14-16 minutes.

These are almost a cross between granola bar and muffin. The flavor is a good alternative to a more boring granola bar.
