"Soy" Sauce

1 1/2 cups beef or vegetable stock
4 tsp. balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. molasses
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt

In a medium saucepan, stir all ingredients together.  Boil until liquid is reduced to 1 cup, about 8-10 minutes.  Refrigerate.

    This sauce is reminiscent of soy sauce. It tastes good and will replace soy sauce in your recipes.
