Creamy Fettucini Alfredo
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups whipping cream
2 cups grated parmesan cheese
1 lb. fettuccine
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Place softened butter in a large bowl.  Use a spoon to beat until smooth.  Add the cream and parmesan cheese.  Stir until well-blended; set aside.  Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions.  Drain well and immediately add the hot pasta to the large bowl.  Toss together, sprinkling with salt and pepper.  Reheat through if desired.
