Hot and Sticky Wings
3 lbs. chicken wings, cut into sections and tips discarded
12 oz. orange marmalade
6 oz. apricot preserves
1/4 cup ketchup
1 pkg. taco seasoning or homemade taco seasoning
1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
Preheat broiler to high. Place cut wings, skin side up, on baking sheet. Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 8-10 minutes or until skin is golden and begins to crisp. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Place wings in slow cooker and pour mix over wings, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on high for 2.5-3.5 hours. Cool 15 minutes to allow juices to thicken before serving.
